I was born during WWII, and that was awhile ago.
I was three years old when my dad returned home. He’d never seen me before and we stayed strangers.
My mom was vivacious and ambitious and thought I might be her ticket out into the world and so she prepared me for modeling, pageants and show biz.
I'd a career in all three of those vocations – and seriously played that game for awhile – until I discovered that I actually preferred vintage clothes, kids, cats, pillows, blankets, driftwood, sitting in the sun, gardens, ukulele, people who make me laugh.
And a lot of other stuff, most of which is sitting in boxes in the basement, on shelves and in cupboards. (Actually, on every horizontal surface).
I even have a costume room which any theater company in the world would be envious of – although it needs a bit of editing.
This website is my idea of how to sort through all my "stuff" and to try and find some sense in it.
I intend to make it all fabulous in case someone happens to do a search for "Silly Pink Shoes."
If you have wandered here – Welcome!
